Applications for the 2018-2019 School Year Are Now Open

Empowerment Academy Charter School is accepting applications for the 2018-19 school year. We will accept applications for our lottery until Tuesday, January 16th.

We are a FREE PUBLIC SCHOOL that provides equal access to ALL students on a space available basis. We do not discriminate in our admission policies or practices on the basis of intellectual or athletic ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, special needs, proficiency in the English language, or any other basis that would be illegal if used by a school district. For the school year beginning in September 2018, we will be enrolling 120 students in Kindergarten and students in grades 1-4. Going forward, we will add one additional grade level per year and will ultimately grow into a K-12 school so students starting with us can stay with us through high school.

Where will Empowerment Academy’s Fourth Graders will be next year?  BelovED Community Charter School is bringing on 12 new classrooms this coming summer and will be opening up a brand new middle school, across the street from its current facility, in the summer of 2019.  We have an agreement with BelovED Community Charter School to have our Fourth Grade located at their facility next year (SY2018-19), and to have our fourth and fifth graders located at their facility in the year following (SY2019-2020).
